End to End is a table runner that is made using a 5" precut pack and some additional fabric for the borders, backing, and binding (see pictures above for each version's requirements). It has a 4-piece x 10-piece checkerboard center with 2 options for finishing the ends -- you can use either a repeating stripe or a plain fabric (a great opportunity for embroidery). You could also use a 10" precut pack and adapt the pattern to make it longer or wider so that it could fit a longer dining table or be used as a bed runner.

This would be a great pattern for a beginner, but note that it does not include instructions for how to sandwich, quilt, and bind; however, all of those things are easily found free online or in several quilting magazines and books.

Approximate finished size is 18" x 59".
