Description
Product Features

BASIC Table Runner #5 is a beautifully streamlined pattern designed to highlight a favorite feature fabric with crisp framing and classic structure. Measuring 43" x 14", this runner creates a polished, modern look using just four fabrics—making it an ideal project for beginners as well as seasoned quilters who appreciate simplicity with impact.

At the heart of the design is a bold center panel (Fabric A), perfect for showcasing seasonal prints, elegant textures, or statement motifs. This focal strip is framed by borders (Fabric B) that add definition without overwhelming the centerpiece. Fabric C introduces charming corner accent squares that create a subtle, tailored finish, while also serving as the binding for a cohesive edge.

The construction is straightforward and satisfying: clean strip piecing, thoughtful orientation for directional prints, and a backing assembled from two lengthwise-cut panels for a smooth finish. Once quilted, the runner offers a crisp, professional look that works beautifully on dining tables, sideboards, coffee tables, or as a seasonal accent.

This pattern is perfect for showcasing bold prints or holiday fabrics and quick weekend projects or last-minute gifts. BASIC Table Runner #5 delivers a timeless, versatile layout that lets your chosen fabrics shine—simple to sew, easy to customize, and endlessly adaptable for any décor or season.

This is a great pattern for a beginner, but note that it does not include instructions for how to sandwich, quilt, and bind; however, all of those things are easily found free online or in several quilting magazines and books.
